May 2027 · Burgas

Eurovision is coming to Burgas. We are 37 km up the coast.

The 2027 Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Burgas in May. Hotel Caesar Palace is in Sunny Beach, about forty minutes north along the coast — close enough to get into the city easily, far enough to have rooms when Burgas does not.

Free parking, all of May

Parking at the hotel is free for every guest for the whole of May 2027 — whether you are here for the contest or not.

The car park is directly in front of reception, behind a barrier, and it is visible from almost every room's terrace. If you have driven across Europe to get here, you can see your car from your window. That matters more than it sounds after a long drive.

For the rest of the season there is a small charge for parking.

Why not just stay in Burgas?

You can, if you book early enough. Burgas is a working city rather than a resort, and its hotel stock is limited — for an event this size, the city fills first and prices follow.

Sunny Beach has the opposite problem in May: a resort built for August, mostly empty in spring. You get a beachfront room at spring rates, forty minutes from the arena, on a coast that is genuinely worth a few extra days. The sea is still cold in May — we would rather say so than pretend otherwise — but the light is beautiful and the resort is quiet.

Getting to the city

Reception can arrange a taxi to Burgas and back. Tell us your dates and the times you need when you book, and we will organise it rather than leaving you to find a car at midnight after a final. Burgas Airport sits between the two, about 37 km from us.

If you would rather explore than commute, the coast around here is the reason people come back: Nessebar's UNESCO old town is five kilometres away, and Sozopol is an easy day trip south.

Common questions

How far is Hotel Caesar Palace from Burgas?
About 37 kilometres, roughly 40 minutes by car. The hotel is in Sunny Beach, on the coast north of Burgas, and can arrange a taxi to the city and back.
Is parking free during Eurovision?
Parking at the hotel is free for every guest for the whole of May 2027, whether or not you are travelling for the contest. For the rest of the season there is a small charge. The car park sits in front of reception behind a barrier and is visible from almost every room’s terrace.
Why stay in Sunny Beach rather than Burgas?
Burgas has a limited number of hotel rooms and they fill first for an event of this size. Sunny Beach is 37 km up the coast with far more capacity, it is on the beach, and May rates there are well below the peak-summer season.
Can the hotel arrange transport to the venue?
Yes — reception can arrange a taxi to Burgas. Tell us your dates and times when you book and we will organise it.
